This website is a booking platform operated as a GetYourGuide affiliate. We help you discover and book tours, but we do not operate the tours ourselves. All tours are provided by independent tour operators.
By booking through this site, you agree to these terms and the terms of both GetYourGuide and the tour operator.
Independence & Non-Affiliation
Mount Vesuvius Tour is an independent visitor guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio, the Ente Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio, their official online ticketing service, the Parco Archeologico di Pompei, or any Italian public authority. Nothing on this site is an official communication from any of them, and we use none of their names, marks or emblems as our own.
We do not sell the national park’s entry ticket. Admission to the Gran Cono (the summit crater) is a timed, dated ticket issued by the park through its own official booking channel. Where a tour listed here states that the park entry ticket is included, that means the tour operator buys it on your behalf as part of their product — it does not mean you are buying it from us. If you are visiting independently, buy it from the park’s own official source.
Park opening hours, ticket prices, capacity limits and weather closures are set by the park and can change without notice. Any such figure quoted on this site is reported as we found it on the date stated, not guaranteed by us.
Bookings & Payment
- All bookings are processed and fulfilled by GetYourGuide and the respective tour operator.
- Full payment is required at time of booking.
- By completing a booking, you agree to GetYourGuide’s Terms & Conditions and the tour operator’s policies.
- Booking confirmations and vouchers are issued by GetYourGuide.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policies vary by tour. Each tour listing displays its specific cancellation terms. Common policies include:
- Free cancellation tours: Refund available if cancelled within the specified timeframe (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours, or more before departure).
- Non-refundable tours: No refund for cancellations, though date changes may be offered at the operator’s discretion.
- No-shows: No refund applicable.
To cancel or modify a booking: Contact GetYourGuide customer service directly using the details in your booking confirmation email.
Tour Operator Responsibility
The tour operator (not this website) is solely responsible for:
- Conducting the tour safely and as described
- Providing qualified guides and equipment
- Weather-related cancellations or modifications
- Passenger safety and insurance
- Handling complaints or issues during the tour
In case of adverse weather, mechanical issues, or safety concerns, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the tour. Refund or rescheduling options will be handled per the operator’s policy.
Liability & Disclaimer
This website acts solely as a booking referral platform. We are not liable for:
- Tour quality, safety, or accuracy of descriptions
- Personal injury, loss, or damage during tours
- Cancellations, delays, or changes made by tour operators
- Disputes between customers and tour operators
All participants engage in tour activities at their own risk and must follow safety instructions provided by the tour operator.
The tour operator’s liability terms apply as stated in their booking conditions.
